LIVE: MTV Dance Party promoting inclusivity for LGBT youth

LOS ANGELES -- MTV's O Music Awards is trying to set the Guinness World Record for Longest Team Dance Marathon in a benefit for various LGBT groups.

You can watch it LIVE online from The Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip.

Organizers hope to set the record later today.

Throughout the livestream, a bunch of celebs are planning to stop by to show their support including Shangela ("RuPaul’s Drag Race"), Peta Meragatroyd ("Dancing With The Stars") and We R Heroes ("America’s Best Dance Crew"). The goal is to break the world record during the live show at the end of Monday's show.

Funds will be split between GLSEN (the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network), It Gets Better Project, The Gay Straight Alliance Network (GSA), Human Rights Campaign (HRC), The Trevor Project and GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation). Fans will also be able to tap into social media to support the cause and root for their favorite dancers.
