The sobering image re-released from ACT UP on social media over the weekend is a reminder of the devastation AIDS has had on the LGBT community since its outbreak in the 1980’s. World AIDS Day is on December 1. 

The Imperial Court fed over 600 people in San Diego this Thanksgiving

 Imperial Court de San Diego raises spirits to those who may not have anyone during the holidays.

Every year the Imperial Court de San Diego helps to feed the community during the holidays and this year was no exception. On Thursday both The Court and The San Diego LGBT Community Center (The Center) hosted the 29th Annual Scott Carlson Thanksgiving Community Dinner & Food Drive.

The VEgas strip and beyond will go red on December 1 to honor those affected by HIV/AIDS.

Some of Las Vegas’ biggest casinos will go red for World AIDS Day.

Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) will honor those affected by the disease with events around Las Vegas on December 1.

Stepping Stone 'Day of the Dead Celebration' helps those in recovery

Day of the Dead Celebration is on Saturday, October 28 at 5:45 pm.

Community organization Stepping Stone is celebrating 40 years and their annual Dia de los Muertos event hopes to continue helping men and women in need of drug and alcohol recovery services by way of the public's generosity. 

Founded in 1976, Stepping Stone is a non-profit agency offering a variety of treatment and recovery programs to the LGBT Community.
