Letting your inner voice sing for a good cause, could get you crowned Lip Sync champion.
The recent popularity of lip sync battles on television shows just how fun this artform can be. Drag queens and kings have been doing it for years.
Take a costume, your favorite song and add a little choreography and you can become that pop star you were always meant to be.
It's time to take that dream and apply it to a great cause with “Lip Sync War Wednesdays” at Uptown Tavern in Hillcrest starting February 1, with host Landa Plenty.
This competition is open to the public but space is limited and you must register by emailing BryantJProductions@gmail.com.
All registration fees go directly to San Diego LGBT Community Center’s #bethegeneration campaign.
The winner will be crowned Hillcrest’s Lip Sync Champion and receive other gifts and prizes.
It’s time to take all of that creativity you use to sing in your car or in the shower and bring it up on stage.
You can wear a unique costume, bring props and use dance moves to bring your vision to life.
Let your imagination run wild and take life by the microphone at Uptown Tavern's “Lip Sync War Wednesdays."
This event will be coming to Uptown Tavern every quarter. Crowning a new lip sync champion every season.
