If you’re the type of person who won’t wear the same dress to a charity event two times in a row, you are in luck, the Red Dress Party San Diego 2017 is hosting The Red Dress Swap.

On Friday, August 25 at Rich’s you can bring in the dress you wore last year and switch it out for a new frock.

This year's theme is "Rouge" and the event raises money for local causes.

Last year the charity raised $20,000 to benefit San Diego HIV Funding Collaborative (SDHFC), a group established in 1990 help bring awareness and support to the San Diego HIV and AIDS community through education and fundraising.

“What’s even more exciting is this contribution is likely all ‘new’ money; meaning, we believe this donation isn’t taking away from other philanthropic activities," said The Think Red Project in their official blog. “The part-fun-part-fundraising appeal of Red Dress Party San Diego is adding money to the San Diego HIV Funding Collaborate that wouldn’t have been donated otherwise.”

The Red Dress Swap is Friday, August 25 from 5 pm to 7 30 pm at Rich's Nightclub. There is no cover charge and all are welcome.

Rich's is located at 1051 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92103.
