Since 1975 the Imperial Court de San Diego has held an Annual Toy Drive for Children called "Toys for Kids."

It was started because the officials at the "Toys for Tots" Drive refused to receive toys from the "homosexual community." (Its policy has since changed).

This past weekend was the "Three Kings" holiday in Mexico where children were given gifts.

The Imperial Court presented the last of the toys to "Es Por Los Ninos" in Tijuana- a residential for Children and Women living with HIV/AIDS. The Imperial Court de San Diego also holds an annual blanket drive for the homeless, the elderly & infants in Tijuana which every year many die just of the cold.

Toys, gift cards, food vouchers were given to Florence Elementary School, Christie's Place, Barrio Station, Ramona Health Center, and to the Children of the Wounded Warriors Veterans on Christmas Day.

The Imperial Court de San Diego would most like to thank our GLBT community friends, allies, organizations, bars, and businesses for their decades of support for our annual holiday campaigns stated Michael Lochner-President Board of Directors Imperial Court de San Diego.
