The San Diego Women’s March is being held in conjunction with The Women’s March on Washington on January, 21, 2017 at 10 am.

This San Diego assembly will contain women, men and children from “all backgrounds, ethnicities, abilities, religions, orientations and political affiliations.”

'Tantrums & Tiaras' picks their 2017 contestants

The annual amateur drag charity event “Tantrums & Tiaras: Battle of the Bar Queens” has cast their group of contestants for the 2017 event.

This holiday charity event will have live music from DJ Tone Capone, Go-go dancers and $3 “u-call-its” from 7 pm to 9 pm. That means anything behind the bar is only $3.

This yearly affair hopes to not only educate San Diego about the AIDS crisis, but will offer lectures as well as entertainment during the presentation.

The march hopes to send a clear message to the new administration that women’s rights are human rights.

San Diego LGBT activist Nicole Murray-Ramirez was given the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the 30th Anniversary Dinner of Border Angels in San Diego on November 5, 2016.

The event was held at the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation to a sold-out crowd.

Murray-Ramirez was honored alongside stage producer and director William A. Virchis.
