As part of their commitment to creating a lasting tribute to the families whose lives have been forever changed by AIDS and HIV, the San Diego AIDS Memorial Task Force will hold a public meeting on Aug. 28 to provide a status update on the project and call on members of the public to submit design ideas for a memorial in a new Bankers Hill park.

Pink Floyd's "The Wall" is maybe more pertinent than ever.

One of the scariest music videos of the 80’s was from the highly successful rock opera and personal double album from Pink Floyd called “The Wall.” Odd how that title is political even today. 

There are actually a few music videos on YouTube which showcase the 80’s tune, and motion picture of the same name, and each of them arguably a prediction of current times.

A lot of controversies have been surrounding the recent remarks by comedian Lil Duval on the radio show "The Breakfast Club" he was on last Friday, and they should apologize. 

The problem arose when he said if he slept with a woman and later found she was trans she would have to die.

Mayor, local officials mark progress on library construction in Uptown

Trump’s war on transgender service members

As the character was initially written, his "point" was that he did not want to be in the army, and was pulling stunts to get a second 8 discharge. A Section 8 discharge, which is no longer in use as such, was for soldiers deemed mentally unfit for duty.
