Fitness club Equinox is celebrating people who have made a difference in history by their passion and persistence.

The project is called “Commitment,” and is inspired by seven people and “the commitments they make” according to the website. But if you’re looking to buy any of the items, you’re out of luck, they aren’t for sale.

Lyft reveals its top visited sites in San Diego.

Lyft revealed its top destinations in San Diego for 2017 and the restaurant most visited is smack dab in the heart of Hillcrest: Urban MO’s Bar and Grill.

In what are called the Lyfties, the ridesharing service calculates the most-visited sites in top cities and publishes those results at the end of the year.

Theater Review: “Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin”

“Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin” runs through January 7, 2018 at San Diego Repertory’s Lyceum Theatre, 79 Horton Plaza, Downtown.

His songs form a great part of the “Great American Songbook.” Lacking music training, he said he could only play in F-sharp, on the black keys – because “they stick out, so it’s easier.” George Gershwin called him “the greatest songwriter who ever lived.” 

Jerome Kern may have said it best: “Irving Berlin has no place in American music – he is American music.”
