Jim Winsor's Out & About: Going away party for Mo's Wes Geissler this Friday

Be sure to head over to Urban Mo's this Friday night to bid a fond farewell to a legend in our nightlife community, at a going away party for Mo's weekend bartender Wes Geissler.

After nine fun-filled years on the job, Wes is moving to Los Angeles to pursue new opportunities and adventures (his last day at work was this past Sunday). His positive energy and enthusiasm, his infectious warmth and smile, and last but not least, his extremely strong pours ... will all be missed.

The festivities will kick off at 8 pm. And while there, be sure to also give hearty congratulations to Holly Neiman and Kevin Gardner, who will be taking over Wes’ weekend bartender duties.

No Pants Party at the Ruby Room

Also this Friday, the Ruby Room will be hosting the First Annual No Pants Party. Billed as a "night of freedom," participants are urged to part with their pants, exposing their "best panties, tighty whiteys, banana hammock, drawls, skibbies, chonies, manties, granny panties, boxers, boy shorts, thongs, g-strings or whatever covers your junk."

In addition to no cover for the pants-less, the night features a pants check by Lilly Holiday of The House of Pink Boombox, a Pants Off Dance Off hosted and judged by Ryan Roots, and $3 Stoli specials all night.

Andrew Christian (plus Christian Taylor) at Rich's

As if the incredible WTF Massive party at Rich's this past Labor Day weekend wasn't enough, another big night is planned there for this Saturday, with the Andrew Christian Party.

The party features 10 hot Andrew Christian underwear models coming down from Los Angeles to shoot their next music video here in San Diego at Rich's.

For those of you not yet familiar with their rather infamous underwear advertising videos, here is one which has them washing a car:

In addition to music by DJ Nikno, there will be free give a ways, raffles, and surprises through out the night, plus an opportunity to meet and mingle with the models.

Cover is $10, but if you wear Andrew Christian merchandise to the door you'll get half off before 11 pm.

By the way, also in attendance will be "Go Go" Christian Taylor, there in force with friends to celebrate his 25th birthday. So, when you see him be sure to wish him a happy one!

New Gabriel Joseph video

Speaking of videos, local singer-songwriter Gabriel Joseph (who was profiled here on SDGLN a few weeks ago) has just come out with a new music lyric video for his song Show Me What U Got, which as you can see features not only Gabriel but several other well-known shirtless boys from our nightlife scene as well:
