GLAAD's What To Watch on Wednesday

"Survivor" and "The Challenge" return with new seasons

Tonight catch the season premieres of "Survivor: Philippines" and "The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons," plus an all new episode of "Top Chef Masters" that will narrow the competition to two.

8 pm: Survivor: Philippines CBS (1.5 hrs) SEASON PREMIERE

The 25th season kicks off with 18 castaways stranded on the Caramoan Islands, including out lesbian contestant Dana Lambert.

10 pm: The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons on MTV (1.5 hrs) SEASON PREMIERE

Cast members from seven seasons of The Real World return and team up to compete for the $250,000 in the 23rd season set in Turkey. This season's cast includes out contestants Sam, Frank, Derek, Preston and JD.

10 pm: Top Chef Masters on Bravo (1 hr) NEW

The chefs are challenged to create a dish while simultaneously instructing a mystery guest to create the same dish on the other side of a barrier. In the elimination challenge the chefs will mentor culinary students and guide them through making a dish while they are not able to cook or touch anything themselves.

This morning and afternoon, check your local listings for information about Ellen, The Nate Berkus Show, The Talk (CBS) and The Chew (ABC). Days of Our Lives on NBC (check local listings for time) features gay character Will as a series regular; keep an eye out for developments between Will and recurring gay characters Sonny and Neil.
