LOS ANGELES -- One of the LGBT community’s most star-studded events, the GLAAD Media Awards, will take place Saturday night at The Beverly Hilton, honoring superstar Jennifer Lopez.
The annual awards event is held in both Los Angeles and New York to celebrate the most outstanding images of the LGBT community in the media. This year marks the 25th annual GLAAD Media Awards. Attendees at the event come together each year to raise funds, support, and visibility for GLAAD’s work while enjoying a red carpet-style awards show experience.
Over 2,000 people will attend the sold-out Los Angeles GLAAD Media Awards event tomorrow night and will be in the company of celebrities like Ross Matthews, Laverne Cox, Maria Menounos, Rita Moreno, Ellen Page, Kelly Osbourne, Lupita Nyong’o, Linda Bloodworth Thomason, and more.
Awards will be given out in numerous media categories, including journalism, print, online, TV, and films, in both English and Spanish language categories. The full list of nominees can be found HERE.
