The pop icon has reportedly signed a 36-show deal at Park Theater.
Las Vegas’ MGM Resort may be getting a famous “poker face” not in the casino but on stage at the Park Theater (currently Monte Carlo) reports Vital Las Vegas.
The publication broke the story that Lady Gaga has signed a deal in the Sin City venue for a 50-show, $100 million residency.
But the Las Vegas Review-Journal says those numbers aren’t quite accurate. Their own source “familiar with the contract” says the deal is for only 36 shows at $400,000 each.
They are expecting an official announcement to be made this week.
Gaga recently canceled the European leg of her "Joanne" tour due to physical and mental health struggles, "It's hard to explain, and we're trying to figure it out," she said in a statement this past September.
Park Theater is becoming a formidable contender in a city known as a home for entertainment legends. Cher will have an 18-show commitment there from January through May 2018.
Other headliners who have residencies include The Pretenders, Stevie Nicks, Bruno Mars and Ricky Martin.
