Outgoing Chief Executive Officer Christopher Baily celebrates the house and it's generosity to helping the LGBT communty.
Chief Executive Officer of Burberry, Christopher Baily is making a colorful exit as he leaves the fashion giant.
His final design will integrate a rainbow into the iconic check pattern for his last collection which will be revealed on February 17 at London Fashion Week.
“The rainbow, a symbol of inclusiveness and joy, is celebrated throughout the February 2018 collection,” wrote Bailey on Instagram.
Baily’s last day is on March 31 according to New Now Next.
He commends the fashion house for their donations to LGBT non-profits such as Albert Kennedy Trust, the Trevor Project, and the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (IGLA).
“My final collection here at Burberry is dedicated to and in support of some of the best and brightest organisations supporting LGBTQ+ youth around the world,” he added. “There has never been a more important time to say that in our diversity lies our strength, and our creativity.”
Bailey has been chief creative officer and CEO at Burberry since 2014.
