In what might be the most ill-advised PR stunt in modern times, drag celebrity Tyra Sanchez is scaring the public with an ambiguous bomb threat against the L.A. event known as DragCon.

DragCon is a public industry gathering presented by RuPaul that celebrates the drag entertainment community; thousands of ticket holders attend every year.

Fans noticed the threat on the Drag Race season 2 winner's Facebook page early in April after she was banned from DragCon upon making threats against Phi Phi O’Hara and Tatianna. In a video, Tyra says those threats were a result of Phi Phi and Tatianna "coming for her."

Her banishment from the event resulted in a Facebook post in which she warns attendees to stay away.

“Fair warning: DO NOT attend RuPaul’s DragCon on May 12, 2018. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Then came another:

“Second Warning: DO NOT attend RuPaul’s DragCon on May 12, 2018. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. I’d hate to say I told you so.”

According to The Hornet she doubled-down at a personal appearance.

“She said she won’t confirm or deny that anything will happen, but warned to not be there Friday at 4:00,” the unidentified source said.

To further drive home the point Sanchez's website now has a ticking clock counting down the hours until DragCon opens its doors. Fans have surmised that this is a stunt which is meant to bring attention to Sanchez's new single ominously titled "B.O.O.M."

Sanchez has been at odds with World of Wonder since her season 2 Drag Race win. Sanchez says the company is racist when it comes to their drag talent. She claims WOW doesn't invest in her career the way they do white contestants.

Facebook users have tagged the FBI and the LA police department in response to the perceived threats, but as of this writing, the posts and the countdown on her website remain.
