It's only been a few weeks since the ink has dried on the cancellation papers for the rebooted "Roseanne," but ABC has decided to move forward without its female star this fall for "The Conners."

"The Conners" is the working title of the sitcom and will be a spinoff of "Roseanne" ABC announced on Thursday.

“Roseanne Barr will have no financial or creative involvement in the new series,” The network said in a statement.

Many people were happy that the titular star lost her series after she went on Twitter and posted some strange tweets including a racist one toward former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Fans said it wasn't fair the whole cast and crew lost their jobs after the social media debacle and many suggested it continue without the headlining comedienne; some posting memes with everyone in the cast except Barr and the caption "The Conners."

How exactly the family will explain her exit is unclear. Although in a cliffhanger this season Roseanne was about to go in for major knee surgery.

The network only hinted at the storyline, "After a sudden turn of events, the Conners are forced to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before."

Carsey Werner, the show's production company has been trying to work out some way to bring the popular show back since it was canceled on May 29.
