On Saturday, Jan 23, 2010 FlawLes, San Diego’s Lesbian Lifestyle and Entertainment Media movement, will be hosting its marquee experience: The Tie Party. This year’s event will be held at The W Hotel in downtown San Diego.

In an expression of a community tied together for equality, bound by their efforts in pursuit of equal rights, FlawLes presents this celebration to benefit Equality California -- the state's chief LGBT civil rights and advocacy organization.

Participants should put on a tie -- a simple emblem of unity and the composite strength of a community whose ambitions are fixed together in solidarity. The evening will be captured on film and distributed internationally in an effort to continue to inspire and increase awareness on behalf of equality for all.

6 p.m.: Doors open/VIP cocktail reception
7 p.m.: Equality California guest presentation
8 p.m.: DJ performances
Until 2 a.m.: Live entertainment, dance performers, and drummer Emily O'Bannon (featured on Glee)
