Liverpool FC bans staff from using slurs

LIVERPOOL, England -- Liverpool FC have issued all staff and stewards with a list of “unacceptable” words and phrases.

Under the new rules, they will no longer be allowed to tell anyone to “man up”, or comment that they “play like a girl”.

A leaked copy of the staff handbook also reveals that “princess” and “don’t be a woman” are not allowed.

And the document lists examples of banned racist words.

The guide, part of a wider education program run by the club, details terms that employees should deem offensive under the headings of race/religion, sexual orientation, gender and disability.
