This kind of “number counting” extends to my clients who feel they aren’t doing lifts that are worthwhile if the lift isn’t what they consider to be “heavy”.

Numbers like this would all be relevant if you and I are powerlifters, competing for who could move the most amount weight.

The region’s newest professional sports organization proudly announced today that it will officially be known as 1904 Football Club. Along with a description of the club name’s origin, the team unveiled a brand video to share their story.

UK sports celebrity Ben Stokes was put on suspension from his cricket team after a video was released of him involved in a brawl outside an English pub this week.

But the fight may have been in response to homophobes engaging in verbal abuse with two gay men according to Piers Morgan.

Target hires out athlete Robbie Rogers for new clothing ad

Robbie Rogers is the new face of Target clothing line.

Retail giant Target is unwavering in its support for the LGBT community. Their new spokesperson for Goodfellow & Co., an exclusive clothing line for the retailer, is out L.A. Galaxy player Robbie Rogers.

Regarding the launch, Rogers recently posted about his new TV spot on Instagram saying followers will get a peek at some of his favorite items in the coming weeks.

Fans escorted from Fenway Park after they display racism banner

Fans at Fenway Park in Boston were escorted out of the stadium after they draped a banner about racism over the left field wall, or “The Green Monster” as it is nicknamed, on Wednesday night.

The Boston Red Sox were hosting Oakland, a game that ended in a 7-3 loss for the home team.

City of San Diego taking steps to combat Hepatitis A outbreak

In an effort to fight a hepatitis A outbreak, Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer and the County of San Diego are taking meaningful actions that include providing free vaccinations, distributing educational materials and installing handwashing stations throughout the city.
