SAN DIEGO _ Restore Equality 2010 supporters attempted to gather 100,000 signatures for equality in a Day of Action canvass statewide on Saturday.

The goal is to build support to repeal Proposition 8 in 2010.

Three such events were scheduled in San Diego County.

_ The Bamboo Lounge, 1475 University Ave., San Diego.

_ Chicano Park, National Avenue and Dewey Street, San Diego.

_ The Hill Street Café, 524 S. Coast Highway, Oceanside.
