High school senior wins the crown for prom queen dressed in drag.

A high school student in Powdersville South Carolina was elected prom king over the weekend dressed in full drag and it was met with a lot of criticism --not from his fellow classmates -- but their parents.

One of the very first LGBT-affirming property in the nation developed by Community HousingWorks (CHW) held its grand opening in San Diego this past Friday.

Called the North Park Seniors, this historic facility is welcoming to all seniors, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or other protected class status.

Babycakes is moving out of Hillcrest for a big expansion

Babycakes is moving out of Hillcrest and into Paradise Hills.

After a decade of serving the Hillcrest community with some of the tastiest treats in San Diego, the popular bakery Babycakes will be pulling up stakes and relocating to the Paradise Hills neighborhood in order to expand.

The Hillcrest location will remain open until the end of May 2018 with the new bakery opening sometime in June. 

Richard Grenell confirmed as Ambassador to Germany

Grenell's appointment was delayed by Democrats in March.

On Thursday, the United States Senate confirmed openly gay Richard Grenell (R) as Ambassador to Germany. The 56-42 vote comes after months of criticism from the Democratic party who accused him of being a misogynist and therefore undeserving of the high-ranking ambassador position. 

Son surprises his worried dad with a special tattoo

Some parents still cringe when their adult kids tell them they are getting a tattoo. Such was the case for Richard, a New Jersey dad, who says he’s not against tattoos, but when it came down to his own son Jonathan he was admittedly alarmed.
