The FBI has released very disturbing pictures from the Pulse Nightclub attack, the worst mass shooting in United States history, which took 49 innocent lives in June of 2016.

The photos were taken eight days after the attack, and depict the damage that was done to the building both inside and out as police tried to make their way in to help trapped patrons.

Captured by the assailants and reposted by Felicity Noire, the shaky footage is disturbing as the men travel the streets at night shouting slurs and threatening the women.

Non-accepting Brazilian mother stabs, kills gay son then burns remains

17-year-old Itaberli Lozano of Brazil was fatally stabbed by his mother for being gay.

A Brazilian mother has admitted to stabbing her teenage son, killing him because he was gay.

It happened last month on Christmas Eve, after the mother, Tatiana Lozano Pereira was returning home with her son Itaberli Lozano, 17.

The two were having a heated argument and upon entering the house two men, hired by Pereira began to beat him.

Man arrested in brutal North Park hammer attack

Louis Cedarholm, 29, entered a North Park auto shop and assaulted a man with a hammer 13 times to the head.

A brutal attack on Monday which left a victim in critical condition has led to the arrest of a suspect.

The assault took place at Jack’s Muffler Service on University Avenue near Mississippi Street in North Park Sunday evening.

Six days of heavy rain this week could break San Diego records

San Diego will experience a series of heavy storms this week and into next.

San Diego has great weather 90-percent of the time, but when it rains it pours. Such will be the case this week as forecasters are predicting a powerful series of storms heading into the area, dropping from 2” to 4” of rain along the coast.

Valleys are expected to get 5” of precipitation and the mountain areas could experience a record 10” says the National Weather Service.

Animal rights group closes Ringling Bros. Circus for good

Last Chance for Animals is taking some responsibility for shutting down Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus for good.

After almost 150 years The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus has caved to the pressures of animal rights organizations and will cease any further shows after May 2017.

Last Chance for Animals (LCA) has been involved with undercover investigations into the circus giant's CEO, Kenneth Feld, accusing him of severe animal cruelty.
