One dead in early morning Mission Hills blaze

The smell of smoke infiltrated the Mission Hills district and surrounding areas early Tuesday morning.

An early morning blaze engulfed one Mission Hills home on Tuesday, leaving one person dead and another unaccounted for.

Shortly after 5 am, a home on the 1700 block of upscale neighborhood of Mission Hills was completely engulfed by flames, reports San Diego Fire Rescue Department.

Fire and emergency crews arrived to find the home burning and the roof collapsing in on itself.
