Video shows dance floor collapsing in Spanish disco

Emergency crews helped people at a Tenerife disco on Saturday after the dancefloor collapsed beneath them.

There were 40 people reported injured when at about 2:30 am during a drag performance the ground gave way sending patrons into the basement.

The nightclub is located on the main strip popular with UK tourists. Tenerife is the largest Island on the Span’s Canary Islands.

'Suggestive' religious statue too much for social media

This statue at an Australian school at first glance, looks innocent enough: A young child is kneeling in front of St Dominic who is holding an offering of food. 

But students at the kindergarten to 12th grade Catholic, all-boys Blackfriars Priory School instantly began to take inappropriate pictures with the monument because of a loaf of bread positioned on the Saint’s torso.

Turkey's capital city bans all LGBT events

Turkey's capital, Ankara fears anti-LGBT violence and therefore has suspended any LGBT events indefinitely.

Turkey’s capital city Ankara has banned all LGBT Pride events, including film screenings, theatre shows and exhibitions. This is an effort, city officials say, to protect “public security."

The restrictions went into effect on Saturday for an “Indefinite” period.

People who live in their RVs say they are suing City

People who live in their RVs in San Diego say they have filed a class-action lawsuit against the city On Thursday, because of its Oversized Vehicle Ordinance.

The law says an RV cannot be parked on a city street between 2 am and 6 am unless they have a permit.

The ordinance was put in place to deter RVs from becoming neighborhood eyesores.

City Commissioner Nicole Murray Ramirez was in San Francisco for three days for a dedication ceremony at the San Francisco Rainbow Honor Walk in the Castro district. 

The Queen Mother of the Americas, Empress Nicole was asked to speak at the unveiling of the plaque in honor of founder Julio Sarria, Empress I of San Francisco.
