Bright flash lights up San Diego and beyond

Large bright streak in sky illuminates San Diego and beyond.

If you saw a bright light in the sky on Monday night, you weren’t alone.

The flash happened at about 8:45 pm and could be seen for miles.

The FAA says that many pilots also reported seeing the streaking fireball, although it is still unclear what exactly the mass was.

Jeff Speedy, a Nextdoor social app user, says it could be seen as far away as Arizona.

Claims of gay concentration camp come from Russian press

Russian paper is claiming that Chechen officials are putting gay men in a concentration camp.

Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta originally broke the story last week that Chechan law enforcement have rounded up about 100 men they believed to be homosexuals detaining them, alleging some of the men arrested were also being killed.

The National Organization for Marriage is ecstatic at the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch and they cannot wait to overturn same-sex marriage with his help.

The conservative group sent out emails today to congratulate their supporters and thank Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConell for his role in getting Gorsuch his seat.

A man led the San Diego Police department on a small car chase through Hillcrest on Tuesday night, ending in a crash through a business store front on Park Boulevard and Robinson Avenue just before 9 pm.
