LONG BEACH, Calif. -- The historic ocean liner the Queen Mary, anchored in Long Beach Harbor as a historical museum, is illuminating the night sky with rainbow-colored lights from bow to stern to show solidarity with the LGBT community.
Specifically, the Queen Mary is saluting Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride celebration, which will be held this weekend of May 19 and 19.
The famous ship will play host to the Poseidon dance party on Saturday, May 18, during Long Beach LGBT Pride Weekend featuring international DJs Manny Lehman and Ryan Kenney. Tickets are available at HERE.
The community can enjoy the rainbow lights from ship or shore, and all are invited to take advantage of this once-a-year spectacle.
