Kristin Beck, a retired Navy Seal would like nothing better than to land a job inside the Trump administration.

Beck, who has been retired since 2011, applied for a job next to Donald Trump through a government web portal called GreatAgain.gov.

The Purple Heart honored veteran says she will do even the most menial tasks just long as she is working with the administration in the hopes she can guide them to being more aware and compassionate toward transgender issues.

"I'll carry their coffee if that's what they want -- just so I'm there, just so I'm visible and I exist, and so they see a veteran who is going through life who maybe they don't understand," she told Military.com. "Maybe with that understanding, they can build some compassion and they'll understand what liberty means to me."

Beck lost her bid for congress in Maryland in the Democratic primary to incumbent Rep. Steny Hoyer.

Military.com reports that they reached out to the Trump administration, but have not received a response, and neither has Beck, in regards to her application.

"I served my country; I fought for life, liberty and happiness; and I’m not allowed to have it myself," Beck said. "This is my country waving a flag and talking about liberty. We talk about liberty, liberty, liberty. And I keep saying, 'This is my individual liberty.' "

The Defense Department in June lifted the ban on transgender men and women openly serving in the military, offering to pay for surgeries for those who qualify, although family members and retirees are not covered.
