Desperate family and friends are trying to find David Issac Bernal-Medina who they say was last seen in North Park on Wednesday, April 5.

Bernal-Medina is a member of the LGBT community and last made a Facebook post on March 18, 2017.

Medina's Facebook profile says he has worked as a hairstylist in Scottsdale, Arizona, but more recently at BlowPop Hair Salon in Horton Plaza.

His aunt, Veronica Bernal lives in Tuscan, and says the family is worried because they haven't heard from him.

The San Diego Police Department has confirmed with San Diego Gay and Lesbian News that a missing person report was filed by the family on Wednesday April 5.

They describe Bernal-Medina as 6’2”, 160 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. They had no description of what he was wearing at the time the report was made.

The aunt told SDGLN that David’s friends have canvassed Hillcrest nightclubs but have yet to receive any leads.

David is also a Lyft driver, but the ridesharing company will not assist in helping locate his vehicle, according to his aunt.

If you have any information on David Issac Bernal-Medina you can contact SDPD at 619-531-2000 or 858-484-3154.
