The autopsy report showed the 42-year-old victim died due to blood loss from a stab wound and there was also blunt trauma to her head.
The 47-year-old suspect was arraigned on Monday morning charged with murder.
The couple wed last year, Christa is best known for founding Miss Trans New England and running Miss Trans America pageants.
Massachusetts police detectives assigned to the District Attorney's Office and State Police Crime Scene Services Section are currently conducting the investigation.
So far, 2017 was the deadliest year for trans men and women; 28 were reported to have died due to violence against them.
