He is taking a tour of border wall prototypes in Otay Mesa.
President Trump is coming to San Diego on Tuesday of next week according to White House officials.
This will be Trump’s first visit to California since he’s been in office.
He will be in San Diego to inspect border wall prototypes built near the Otay Mesa entry point.
While he is here, Trump will also learn about different prototype designs according to Fox 5.
After San Diego, he will head up to Los Angeles for a Republican fundraiser.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders has confirmed the presidential visit but did not provide specific details.
In February, U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel ruled in favor of the Trump administration in a federal lawsuit brought on by the state of California and anti-wall advocates who wished to stop construction.
The lawsuit claimed The Department of Homeland Security overstepped its authority when it approved the building of prototypes in San Diego.
Trump tweeted, "Big legal win today," upon hearing of Judge Curiel's ruling in his favor.
