Family Feud is coming to San Diego and you can audition to be on the show July 14 -15.

Your tribe can apply online to make an appointment to audition, otherwise, you can submit a 3 to 5-minute video to casting agents.

Over 40 years ago Family Feud premiered on television with host, Richard Dawson. Through the years the game show has remained popular and has seen many hosts including Louis Anderson and Richard Karn. In 2010 comedian Steve Harvey took over as emcee.

The premise of the game is for two families to face off against each other answering questions based on the responses of 100 people. The goal is to choose the most popular answer among those surveyed.

According to ABC 10 to be eligible to be on the show, families applying "must consist of five members related by blood, marriage, or legal adoption. There is no age requirement, but the show suggests players be 15-years-old or older due to the nature of some of the more unique responses to questions. If applying, families are encouraged to stand out any way they can. The show's producers say coordinating outfits, special talents, a great family story, and lots of high-fives always help."

Any questions can be directed to the show's hotline at 323-762-8467.
