SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus (SDGMC) is looking for an individual to fill the role of its first executive director.
After 26 years, the organization has finally gotten to the point where it wants to hire a person to lead the organization's short- and long-term planning, finances, fundraising and community engagement.
The ideal candidate, according to the SDGMC, is someone familiar with the arts community, has a passion for music and social justice, and has a proven track record in nonprofit management.
The salaried position will require 30 to 32 hours per week.
The nonprofit organization already employs an artistic director and a principal accompanist.
