VIDEO: San Diego Gay Men's Chorus to host Info Night for new members on April 23

SAN DIEGO -- Following its successful "Olé! Olé! Olé!" concert, the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus (SDGMC) will welcome prospective singers and volunteers at the next chorus information night, to be held Monday, April 23, at 7 pm.

Those interested in auditioning or working with the chorus are welcome to participate in the evening’s festivities, which will include food, prizes and fun surprises. Attendees will also be able to get information on auditions for the summer 2012 concert season.

For aspiring members of the group, the event provides insight on how the chorus works, and what being a part of the 130+ member ensemble is like. This season's chorus members will participate in concerts, fundraisers, and trips, all of which are in store for the 2012 Summer Season and beyond.

SDGMC asks all interested singers to pre-register for Info. Night by completing and submitting a membership application, which does not immediately obligate joining. The membership application along with details about the audition process can be found online.

The Info Night will take place at the chorus' regular rehearsal space at the University Christian Church, 3900 Cleveland Ave. in Hillcrest.

For more information, contact the SDGMC at info@sdgmc.org or (877) 296-7664.
