Justin Brent and Gordon L. Myers celebrated their 45th anniversary

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Justin Brent and Gordon L. Myers celebrated their 45th anniversary in March 2018. 

The couple moved to San Diego from Northern California in 1973. 

Mr. Brent is a retired occupational therapist while Mr. Myers is retired from the San Diego Central Library.

San Diego Gay Men's Chorus' plans for Pride and beyond

ABBA's Greatest Hits is on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29.

As much as Pride season belongs to the community so too does it belong to The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus as they fill their schedule for the next few months with events, special appearances, and one of their signature themed concerts. 

For the first time local native tribes will march in San Diego Pride

On July 14 during San Diego Pride, for the first time ever, over 100 Native American LGBTQ people and their allies will walk with their float during the Pride parade.

Riding on the float will be tribal elders with representatives from Viejas, La Jolla, Jamul, Rincon, Cahuilla, and Barona. 

Each parade walker will receive a commemorative "Decolonize Love" vee-neck or tank top.

The San Diego Women's Chorus is giving you "A Million Dreams" for SD Pride

The San Diego Women's Chorus (SDWC) is getting ready to kick off San Diego Pride week with their annual concert event. This year's title is "A Million Dreams."

The group will feature music from the hit movie "The Greatest Showman" and the stage musical "Fun Home."

Plunge into Pride weekend 2018 with the many exciting events LE Parties has in store for you in San Diego this July. LE Parties out-do themselves every year and set the mood for Pride. This year, they are pulling out all the stops with a new venue and some great special guests. 

Victims of Pulse remembered at The San Diego LGBT Community Center

Latino Services at The Center is located at 3909 Centre St., lower level, in Hillcrest.

To mark the two years that have passed since the shooting massacre that occurred at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida on June 12, 2016, Latino Services at The San Diego LGBT Community Center is hosting an altar honoring the victims. The public is welcome to visit the altar through 6 pm today.

New Pride flag design on the way?

The Pride flag hasn’t really changed in the years since Gilbert Baker designed it and first flew it four decades ago. In 2017 there was some controversy surrounding the addition of brown and black stripes to represent queer people of color.
