SAN DIEGO -- The UC San Diego (UCSD) LGBT Resource Center invites alumni to a special brunch on Saturday, Oct. 19 during the university's Homecoming Weekend.
The brunch brings together members of the UCSD "family" who have been involved with LGBT issues on campus, including former principal members of the school's LGBTQ student organizations, as well as recent graduates who attended the annual Rainbow Graduation. The LGBT Resource Center also hopes to reach alumni who were active with campus LGBT issues that it has lost contact with and invites them to participate in the brunch.
Established in 1999, the UCSD LGBT Resource Center is one of the largest such spaces on a public university campus, and provides a number of services and resources to the LGBT community on the campus.
The UCSD LGBT Resource Center is located on UCSD's main campus, between the Mandeville Center and the Original Student Center.
