We learned today that the San Diego Pride Board of Directrors have reached an agreement with community leaders regarding several issues that have caused contention over the past few months. In Hillcrest, two businesses announced closures this week: Filter coffeehouse; and Salt & Cleaver.
Other news from Hillcrest: A mother gives birth to baby in minivan outside UCSD Medical Center; a warhead was found in a backyard following the downpour; and there still no clues on missing man who disappeared in Hillcrest on Oct. 23.
A local story that made national news this week was about a Qualcomm Stadium security guard who was fired for pleasuring himself on the field at Sunday's Chargers game.
