The search will result in three finalists which will be presented to the board.
Since Stephen Whitburn stepped down as executive director of San Diego Pride last September, the search has been ongoing for his official replacement.
Pride has recently selected a search committee and are currently reviewing applications for the position.
Nonprofit Management Solutions are poring over the resumes and have identified some qualified applicants reports San Diego Pride.
Formal interviews are being scheduled for the beginning of March. After narrowing down the best of the bunch the search committee will present three finalists to the Board of Directors.
“The finalists will be invited to meet the staff and will be announced to the community. The final decision on selection of the new Executive Director is expected in April,” San Diego Pride said in a release.
The search committee is chaired by Jeri Dilno, includes the co-chairs of San Diego LGBT Pride, Bianca Burt and Jim Seals, as well as community members Alberto Cortes and Dion Brown.
