NEWS

Some homeless people in Hillcrest are becoming increasingly aggressive and more violent people in the community say. 

California lowered the penalty on positive people who knowingly exposed their partners to HIV from a felony to a misdemeanor

A bold couple came into Gossip Grill on Sunday night. They snatched an employee's wallet from the counter and were caught on CCTV. They have not been caught. 

Hillcrest and surrounding neighborhoods are reporting drones flying up to their windows and "peeping" in. 

The Hillcrest sign was hit by a U-Haul van and the drivers ran off. The sign suffered no damage.

Both Facebook and Instagram went dark on Wednesday internationally. It eventually came back online a few hours later. 

The Boy Scouts unanimously approved allowing girls into their programs. 

Donald Trump will be the first president seated in office to speak at an anti-LGBT, conservative convention. 

San Diegans came together to send a peaceful message to Las Vegas on Thursday. 

COMMENTARY

Reverand Irene Monroe discusses legendary singer Whitney Houston's LGBT past. Recent writings from her ex-husband Bobby Brown seem to confirm she was gay, or bisexual. 

CAUSES

On Thursday, the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) and Transgender Law Center (TLC) filed an amended complaint on behalf of the mother of a transgender boy in her lawsuit against a hospital for discrimination against her son.
