Plenty of music and fun with the debut of Santa Claus this weekend.
Get ready for a parade this weekend as the historic neighborhood of North Park becomes a place of merriment at the 54th Annual North Park Toyland Parade.
This time-honored event is San Diego’s first parade of the holiday season and will make its way down University between Utah and Iowa Streets on Saturday December 2.
Although we may never get snow in San Diego this parade will feel as cheerful and as fun as those Main Street Parades in the Midwest, with melodious marching bands, upbeat dance groups, cool vintage cars, beauty queens, city officials and more.
And what would a holiday parade be without the jolly elf himself, Santa Claus will make his debut atop a red fire engine.
Tis the season to celebrate the continued rejuvenation and growth of North Park! Hang your stockings and then mark your calendar for this year’s 54th Annual North Park Toyland Parade & Festival.
As this winter’s most beloved holiday event, adults and babes alike will never want to leave Toyland.
The 54th Annual North Park Toyland Parade is on Saturday, December 2, starting at 11 am.
