Today Singer/songwriter Danielle LoPresti and her wife Alicia Champion are commemorating the one-year anniversary of the loss of 49 innocent lives at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando Florida with the release of their tribute song “Finish the Dance.”

Married and mothers to a wonderful son, the couple was hit extremely hard by the news that came out of Orlando that morning.

Sometimes the thickest blocks in the walls of hate are set by those who love us and we trust the most. They build using The Bible as uneven bricks and loose scripture as mortar, expecting it to remain solid.  

Scarier still are the masons who construct these barriers, making God their near-sighted foreman. 

San Diego rock star gives bisexuals their own anthem

The bisexual community rarely ever gets heard amidst the flurry of media attention to others within the LGBT acronym.

But San Diego rock artist Alicia Champion has taken her love of music to create a fun rock and roll tune that captures among other things, not being able to choose a date for the evening in her song “Bi.”

The group will be sharing the stage with San Diego Indie Music Fest producers Alicia Champion and Danielle Lo Presti (Danielle LoPresti and the Masses), Palm Springs White Party performer Kerli, female rapper Colette Carr, country music performer Jared Ashley and Australian “Idol” semifinalist Courtney Act.
