The Las Vegas strip turns red for World AIDS Day

Nevada’s biggest landmarks honored those affected by HIV/AIDS on World AIDS Day in a spectacular way yesterday.

Starting at 8 pm , casinos and landmarks showed their support by changing their marquees and logos red; the universal color of AIDS awareness and support. 

Families fade away for some gay Latinos

The report finds that nearly 57 percent of Latino lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender youths say their families accept them. In contrast, 66 percent of white LGBT youths say their families accept their sexual orientation.

LGBT center in Las Vegas names new CEO
