Join a bevy of stars on this night of saucy and musical entertainment.
The San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus (SDGMC) is making life a cabaret on Thursday, Sept. 29 at The Prado Grand Ballroom in Balboa Park.
A Gala Cabaret will feature some of your favorite entertainers who will invigorate the night with plenty of humorous risqué song and dance.
“This will be an amazing show with some of the country’s most talented singers and dancers,” said SDGMC Executive Director Bob Lehman.
“As our biggest fundraiser of the year, we hope everyone comes out and helps support our chorus and our musical mission of outreach,” he adds.
Your host for the evening will be Las Vegas burlesque queen Blanche DeBris. Critics have said, “If America had a sweetheart, Blanche would be her well-meaning but less attractive best friend.”
Also on the talent list is San Diego’s own Chad Michaels. Chad won RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars last season, and his Cher impersonations are revered the world over.
SDGMC performs many concerts throughout the year to support the community.
Proceeds from A Gala Cabaret will help ensure that the Chorus continues to be a presence of hope and Pride with over 200 uplifting voices celebrating diversity and acceptance.
The Gala is produced by Jason Ensign and Andrew Christian, The PGK Dance Project, Pride Resource Partners LLC and San Diego Pride.
This fun-filled night is jam-packed with guest stars including Mykul J. Valentine (Mr. Continental 2016), Hot Toddy (Mr. Exotic World), Whitney Shay, Lola Demure, Frenchie Kiss, Max Cadillac, Paris Sukomi Max, DJ Artform, PGK Dance Project, The Vaudeville Vixens, Dance Divas and the Candy Shop Dance Troupe.
With a special guest appearance by CW6's Laura Cavanaugh.
