On Monday, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation released the results of a survey of employees across the nation, revealing the persistent daily challenges that have led nearly half of LGBTQ people to remain closeted at their workplaces -- a rate largely unchanged over the past decade.
Christians like U. S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions like to smugly recite biblical scripture to promulgate their self-righteous acts of discrimination. In defending Trump’s indefensible policy of separating children from their families-even a child while being breastfed - Sessions cited a passage from Apostle Paul’s epistle to the Romans:

This non-profit helps LGBT friendly businesses in San Diego reach LGBT travelers, a $1.2 billion annual market.
In partnership with the Department of State and the San Diego Diplomacy Council, San Diego Pride will be hosting “Pride World Forum” where LGBTQI leaders from around the world will discuss issues facing our community in their respective countries.
Pride World Forum will be held during Pride weekend at the San Diego History Center located in Balboa Park on July 15 from 11 am to noon.
The Supreme Court ruled in "Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission” in favor of Jack Phillips, the baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple-Dave Mullins and Charlie Craig-on the grounds of religious freedom. In a 7-2 decision, the Justices argued that the commission had exhibited hostility toward religion in its treatment of Phillips’s case.
I like to say there was something in the air why Pride 2017- here and abroad- was one of the most contentious events in its history. Many, however, in our LGBTQ communities say the tension was always present.
