Kelis to headline Girl Bar's Dinah Shore Weekend

(PALM SPRINGS) Platinum R&B artist Kelis will be among the headliners at Girl Bar Dinah Shore Weekend, from March 31 to April 4 (Wednesday - Sunday) in Palm Springs.

Kelis, known for her hits “Milkshake” and “Bossy” will be the main performer at the popular "Pure White" party, Friday night at the Hotel Zoso Grand Ballroom. Dance-music sensation Erika Jayne will shake things up at the "Wet 'N Wild" pool party, which will start at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Renaissance Hotel (formerly the Wyndham).

“We are thrilled to have all of these amazing women performing this year,” co-producer Sandy Sachs said. “With her global hits, ‘Milkshake’ and ‘Bossy’ and new upcoming album, Kelis continues to be an R&B powerhouse and rising star Erika Jayne is a rare and unique talent.”

Actress/comedienne Jennifer Coolidge, perhaps best known as the voluptuous mom in the hit movie, “American Pie,” will headline a show to benefit the Human Rights Campaign, Saturday starting at 8 p.m. at Hotel Zoso's Grand Ballroom.

Australian musical sensation Orianthi, who was Michael Jackson’s explosive guitarist from “This Is It,” will add a high-octane dose of girl guitar power on Sunday at the "Splash Dance" pool party, again at the Renaissance. The pool party will begin at 9 a.m.

“Jennifer Coolidge has wowed us on the big screen and TV, and now she’ll have everyone in stitches when she performs at our special Saturday benefit show for HRC,” co-producer Dr. Robin Gans said. “We also have Orianthi, the incredible bombshell guitarist whom we all saw strut on stage with Michael Jackson, guaranteed to rock our Girl Bar world.”
