SAN DIEGO – Comic-Con is San Diego’s hottest event for popular culture, and even though there are Comic-Con conventions all over the country, let’s face it: Ours is the biggest and the best!
Not only does the “con” grant guests access to up to four and a half days of comics, costumes and celebs, but the nightlife is more than enough to at least venture Downtown this weekend. And the best part? You don’t have to be a badge-holding attendee to join!
And if you’re really sneaky, you may be able to finagle your way into the infamous SyFy & E! Entertainment Weekly party held yearly at The Hotel Solomar, featuring a huge red carpet extending down J Street in the Gaslamp Quarter and completely dripping with A-list celebs. Or maybe you’ll just sneak on the carpet for a photo op at around 8:30 pm Saturday! We won’t judge.
Check out some of the events going on in the Downtown area starting tonight and into the weekend.
