Jim Winsor’s Out & About: "The Great Escape" casting calls are this Friday

If you've ever wanted to star in a reality TV series, here's your big chance!

Ron Howard and the producers from "The Amazing Race" have created a new reality show called "The Great Escape," which will air on TNT. Both Flicks and Eden are hosting casting calls for the show this Friday, March 9, from 10 pm to 1 am. If you are chosen as a contestant, you and your teammate will compete for $50,000 during a one-week commitment.

The theme is this: Two-person teams are plopped into their own action/adventure movie and are ordered to use their wits and physical prowess to escape, be it a sinking liner, a POW camp or deserted island. So, if you'd like to audition or at least get some more information, be sure to stop by Flicks or Eden this Friday.

Belt at Numbers

Belt is back! Cub Club's partners Dangilo Brian Bonilla and Ned Cato Jr. are bringing San Diego's newest authentic fetish dance party event to Numbers this Saturday, March 10, from 10 pm until 2 am.

As many of you may recall, the first Belt party was at Eden a few months ago, and in striving to go beyond being just your average leather party, featured live demonstrations in the arts of bondage, flogging, electro-play, dom/sub relationships, nipple play and even tickling.

Well, the next Belt is this Saturday at Numbers, and is subtitled "Fetish on Overload" for a reason: They've partnered with Papa Tony Lindsey and the guys from Fetish Men San Diego, and will be adding some new excesses (candle wax, clamping and caning, to name a few).

And they're bringing in additional musical talent as well, with DJ MnM opening the night with tribal house sounds, and DJ Shane Stiel closing with the perfect mix of nasty and sexy.

And that's not all! Additional attractions include entertainment by Glitz Glamour, Anthony Rollar, and Cub Club's resident Diva of the Den Grace Towers, dancing by their regular go-go boys Max, David and Anthony joined by local artists Art Torres and Derrol Murphy, shine services by official boot black Spike Tranc, and much much more.

So You Think You Can Drag at Lips
