Mankind Fashion Show and Wet contest at Bourbon Street this Thursday

Tonight (Thursday), join SDPIX and Benny Cartwright for another outrageous night of WET at Bourbon Street. Every week at WET contestants compete for their share of over $600 in cash and prizes, with the top three winners are chosen by audience response.

The competition has been fierce this month, in anticipation of the extra lucrative Wet finals on the 26th, with over $1000 in cash and prizes and a top prize of $500 (!) in cash.

Tonight is also the Mankind fashion show, this month featuring the styles of Pump and Stud.

Plus, there will be half priced Smirnoff cocktails all night long, and dancing and $1 shot specials after the show.

Endless Summer at Fiesta Cantina

Come get lei'd this coming Friday the 13th at 6pm, as SDPIX and Fiesta Cantina bring you the Endless Summer beach party!

No shoes, no shirt, no problem! Beach attire is encouraged, but be sure to wear sandals.

Hosted by Erika Odessa, a live VJ will be on hand. And be sure to take advantage of the all-day happy hour from noon to 8pm and 10:3 0pm to 1:30 am, with 2 for 1 drinks!

Freaky Friday Fall Fashion Show at the Center

Also this Friday, The Hillcrest Youth Center is hosting a fashion show from 6-9 pm. Come enjoy an evening of fashion, fun, food, and live performances by fabulous Natasha Laquisha and music by amazing DJ Rebirth. There will be a silent auction with great items up for bid, and the proceeds will help the HYC continue to provide amazing workshops, events, and discussion groups for queer youth ages 14 to 18. Cover is only $5.

South Bay Pride Art and Music Festival

This Saturday from noon to 5 pm is the South Bay Pride Art and Music Festival. There will be lots of stuff going on, including both a Live Stage and a Flak Production DJ stage featuring the talents of DJ Nic Nak, DJ Kiki, DJ Dank, and DJ Kristy Salazar! Plus there will be a Mo's Playground wine/beer garden, a Family Matters Children's Garden, the winners of the Art of Pride in the Park, great food, great location and great people.

Fabulously Fierce Shoe Soiree at Uptown Tavern

“At the event, you can learn more about AIDS Walk, Run & Street Challenge, register, join a team, or make a donation. All while enjoying fabulous company and great happy hour specials!

"Bring in your dollar bills to support AIDS Walk as we'll be collecting them in our shoes! And we encourage you to wear your fiercest pair, be it boat shoes, pumps stilettos, hi-tops, or whatever you else makes your feet fierce!”
