The eagerly awaited Steve Grand concert at Urban Mo’s is this Saturday. He’s scheduled to perform a 45-minute concert set including his hits “All American Boy” and “Stay,” followed by a meet-and-greet with ticketholders after the show.
If you did not already purchase your tickets to this sold-out, standing-room-only show, not to worry. Mo’s will be broadcasting the entire show on all of their TV screens and sound system throughout the bar. The show starts at 10 pm; I’ll see you all on the red carpet beforehand!
Big weekend at Numbers
Numbers is gearing up to have a whole slew of big events this weekend.
On Friday, Marcel Hetu, Daniel Alves and Spot On Productions brings us Britney: Battle of the Divas, a night dedicated to our favorite pop princess. With Britney videos, performances and music throughout the night, Britney dress up strongly encouraged.
Also on Friday, in the room next door, check out the Circus Party. Hosted by Kristina and Jayden St. James, the night features hot go-go boys and music by Sebastian La Madrid.
On Saturday, get ready for the Battle of the DJ's at Numbers. Presented by SDPIX, come cheer on your favorite San Diego DJs, John Joseph, Marcel Hetu, and Dirty Kurty, at this fun night of music and dancing. It’s also the official party celebrating the birthday of SD PIX publisher Johnathan Hale.
4th annual Glamfest at Lips
On Sunday, Fifi will be hosting her 4th Annual Glamfest at Lips, a benefit for the Autism Society of San Diego. Tickets are $40 to $60, and get you a three-course meal and a fabulous drag show. This is a private event, and tickets can be purchased HERE.
Incredible new deals on the upcoming Atlantis Mexican cruise
This year’s Atlantis Mexican Cruise is set to sail Nov. 10-17, heading from Long Beach to Cabo San Lucas, then two days in Puerto Vallarta, and back. Some big name entertainers such as Kathy Griffin and Deborah Cox have already been lined up.
On top of that, new special fares have just recently been announced. You now have the option of booking either a Guaranteed Inside (GI) stateroom or a Guaranteed Balcony (GB) stateroom for $499 and $699 respectively (plus pre-paid gratuities and port fees).
Now, there are some catches (room selection won’t be made until the day you arrive, and you won’t be able to pre-book shore excursions or spa services) but most would agree those are pretty minor concessions compared to the hefty discounts you’d be getting (regular interiors start at $699, balconies at $999).
I know a lot of “cruise virgins” out there who have been telling me they’ve always wanted to go on an Atlantis cruise, but are always putting it off due to the price. To them I say, if you are looking for an opportunity to finally lose you’re virginity ... this would be it!
