SAN DIEGO, California -- Over the last several months, Voice of Pride contestants have been vying for a coveted performance spot opening for San Diego Pride headliner Deborah Cox at next month's event.
The singing competition's finale is this Sunday, June 29 from 4-6 pm at The San Diego LGBT Community Center where this year's series winner will be crowned.
Community members are invited to the final edition of the competition, where the best contestants from this year's series will compete for the prize. Along with the opening spot on the main stage at Pride, the winner will receive $1,000.
Supporters are encouraged to bring banners, friends, and their loudest cheering voice to The Center on Sunday afternoon for the competition, which will be hosted by local entertainer Dayamis Von Daniken Styles. There will also be a performance by last year's Voice of Pride winner, Melissa Dove.
