16th annual 'Taste of Adams Ave' is a mile of culinary distinction

There are many culinary neighborhood destinations around San Diego, from Little Italy to Hillcrest.

Some may not be aware that Adams Avenue is also another favored destination for pleasing that refined palate, and for foodies who want to become more familiar with that neighborhood's eateries, head out to The Taste of Adams Avenue on Sunday, June 26 at 11 am.

For 16 years, Taste of Adams Avenue has been showcasing the fine flavors of University and Normal Heights leading up to Kensington.

This year’s tour will include 41 restaurants and coffeehouses. From the mouthwatering soul food offered by Circa to the fresh Italian comfort foods of Pappalecco.  

You can make your way across Adams Avenue either by foot, bicycle or complimentary trolley service.

Adams Avenue has undergone some changes over the last few years, it has grown to become a neighborhood of culinary excellence filled with local artistry, specialty shops and popular pubs and breweries.

Taste of Adams Avenue takes place on Sunday, June 26 from 11 am to 3 pm.

Tickets are $35 in advance, and $40 day of the event. Advance tickets may be purchased online HERE.    

IMPORTANT NOTE: After purchasing tickets online, print out the receipt or save it on your phone. On June 26, beginning at 10:30 am, there will be a will call ticket booth located at Smitty’s Auto (3441 Adams Ave).

Bring your receipt and/or a photo ID to claim your ticket. Your ticket will not be emailed to you. No sharing of tickets is allowed. Or skip the will-call line and purchase your ticket at any of the Taste participating locations.

Cash is the only form of payment accepted for the $40 tickets the day of the event. There is an ATM across the street from the ticket booth.
