Disneyland may already be known as the Happiest Place on Earth, but this teen just got a whole lot happier, using Splash Mountain’s ride camera to come out.

Attending the park with her mother, 16-year-old Gina created a small rainbow-colored poster that read “I’m Gay.”

Just before the large drop at the end of the water attraction, she produced the piece of paper to have it captured by the reaction camera for souvenir photos.

It wasn’t until they entered the photo kiosk and her mother saw the photo that Gina’s plan was complete.

Gina spoke to Huffington Post about her family’s reaction, “I couldn’t have ever asked for a better response from my family," she said. “I’m truly so lucky to have such amazing support from all of my friends and family. It made this process go much smoother than I could’ve ever imagined!”

She posted the photo to her Twitter feed on June 20, where it has already seen over 10,000 reactions.

Gina says coming out might not be as easy as just saying the words, or holding a sign:

“It’s an overwhelming process, so just make sure you’re comfortable with who you are and make sure you’re prepared for questions or reactions people may have." She adds, “I also know it’s sometimes hard to tell if you’re ready or not, so just be sure to give yourself time to really think about if you’re prepared.”
